Irene Asare is a highly experienced credible international Human Resources expert, who founded CarvinClay People Development.

Irene Asare is a highly experienced credible international Human Resources expert, who founded CarvinClay People Development. She has worked for some of the best international companies, like Vodafone, Standard Bank and Tullow Oil.
Irene successfully ran the business services function, for the largest oil and gas operator in Ghana. She was accountable for HR, Admin, IS, Facilities and office services and continous improvement. Under her leadership; she saw significant reduction of costs, improved employee engagement and productivity as well as the streamlining and restructuring of teams. She also saw improved governance processes and assisted in the resetting of organisational strategy.

Industries that have felt Irene’s positive transformational impact include: Oil and Gas, Telecommunication, Banking, Retail, Real Estate, Manufacturing, Science and Research. Irene extended her impact when she founded the HR mentorship programme, where HR professionals are taken through a rigorous scheme, aimed to further their understanding of the profession. The programme covered leadership, business & financial literacy, creating a high-performance culture amongst others.

Throughout her career, Irene has cultivated a track record of leadership and excellence. She is a Chartered Human Resources Practitioner (CIPD-UK) as well as a graduate from Kingston University, London with a Master of Arts of Human Resource Management.

Francis Kokutse is a journalist based in Accra, Ghana. A former member of the governing board of the state-owned Ghana News Agency (GNA), he is currently a writer for the Associated Press (AP) and a contributor to Science and Development.Net (SciDev.Net) as well as the University World News.
Kokutse was for more than a decade the West Africa Correspondent of the India-based Indo Asian News Service (IANS). In addition, he has also been a Special Correspondent for the American daily, USA Today and the Ghana Correspondent for the Nation Group of Kenya.
A former Wolson Press Fellow of the University of Cambridge, Kokutse has also worked for Dow Jones Newswires/Wall Street Journal, Inter Press Service (IPS) of South Africa, the Zimbabwe-based Southern Africa Economist, the pan-African magazines, Africa Economic Digest (AED) and News Africa all in the UK
He started his career with the state-owned Ghanaian Times some 39 years ago.
